Kim enjoys helps children and parents gain a greater understanding of and provide solutions for behavioral, social, academic, emotional or family issues that may be causing stress and disruption in their lives or the lives of others.
Kim uses a variety of therapeutic techniques which are appropriate to the clients age and developmental level as well as their presenting issues.
Kim earned her Master's of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. She has over twenty years experience in a variety of settings including: inpatient, therapeutic foster care, public and private school, and private practice.
Outside of the office Kim has been married to her husband for over 25 years, and is a mom to four children (three biological and one adopted). She and her family are active members in their church. She also teaches both college and high school students.
